My work begins with people and the stories we carry. Drawing from everyday observations, memory and imagination, I use the figure to explore moments that feel familiar, yet leave room for interpretation.

Working primarily in oil, I combine traditional painting techniques with abstracted backgrounds, pattern and elements of printmaking. I’m interested in the space between realism and abstraction, and between what we reveal outwardly and what may be happening beneath the surface. Each painting captures a moment within a larger story, inviting the viewer to imagine what came before and what might happen next.
